The Bus Industry Confederation’s industrial arm APTIA hosted a practical webinar focused on modern award compliance in the bus and coach industry. This session helped operators understand how recent workplace law changes affect award use, employee classification, record keeping and wage theft risk.

The webinar covered how to apply the correct modern award and classifications, avoid common compliance mistakes, and reduce exposure under the Fair Work Act. It will also highlighted lessons from recent Fair Work Ombudsman cases and explain changes to delegates’ rights that apply to operators from December 2025.
