Your early bird advice on upcoming industry summit in March 2022 - Mark the Diary!2021 has seen a number of ‘event casualties’ keeping industry from coming together face to face. Due to the high volume of government reform projects currently being undertaken and the indisputable fact that the nation’s political leaders will be in federal election mode, we think it is critical that the BIC kick off as soon as possible in 2022 with a national bus industry summit. The 1-1/2 day Summit program does not aim to cover all of the critical issues current and on the horizon. However, there are 3 areas that are of high impact across the entire operational and supply chain of the bus industry. Therefore, the Summit will commence with a half-day on Tuesday 1 March to address the areas of accessible transport, heavy vehicle law and zero emission technology and transition. Day 2 of the summit will see dedicated seminars and workshops in the areas of industrial relations for operators and technical issues (current and emerging) for suppliers. The BIC will also host an industry dinner on the night of Day 1. Mark your diaries. Registrations will open in December.
